Federal President Joachim Gauck met the Greek President Karolos Papoulias in Berlin on 7 January 2013. In the morning, the two Presidents visited the exhibition “Olympia: Myth – Cult – Games” in the Martin-Gropius-Bau. With over 800 pieces, the exhibition is a joint German-Greek project and both Presidents serve as patrons. Federal President Gauck then invited President Papoulias to luncheon in Schloss Bellevue. Here, the delegations also engaged in political talks for an hour and a half.
