From 10 to 12 October, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier attended this year’s Arraiolos Group meeting of non-executive Presidents of EU member states in Greece. The Presidents of Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and Germany focused on how to tackle the economic and migration crisis as well as on the current security challenges for the EU and its member states.

From 10 to 12 October, Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier attended this year’s Arraiolos Group meeting of non-executive Presidents of EU member states in Greece.

The Presidents of Bulgaria, Croatia, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Slovenia and Germany focused on how to tackle the economic and migration crisis as well as on the current security challenges for the EU and its member states.

The meeting of non-executive Presidents took place for the fifteenth time in this informal format. The group is named after Arraiolos in Portugal, where the first meeting took place in 2003.
