Biographies
Frank-Walter Steinmeier
Frank-Walter Steinmeier, born in the Lippe district in 1956, has been married to Elke Büdenbender since 1995. They have one daughter. Frank-Walter Steinmeier was elected as the twelfth President of the Federal Republic of Germany in 2017 and re-elected for a second term of office on 13 February 2022.

Elke Büdenbender
Elke Büdenbender who was born in Siegen in 1962 has been married to Frank-Walter Steinmeier since 1995. They have one daughter. She has been a judge at Berlin Administrative Court since 2000, on leave from March 2017 to April 2022, and part-time since May 2022.
