Your visit to the Federal President’s citizens’ festival

Opening hours and admission

The Federal President’s citizens’ festival will take place on 14 September 2024 from 11.00 a.m. to 7.00 p.m.

Please present your ticket at the entrance so that you can be admitted at the time stated. Please note that you may have to wait for up to 30 minutes to have your ticket checked. You will not be admitted outside of the time slot that you have booked. This time slot can be found on your ticket.

Please carry photographic ID with you, as random checks may be carried out.

Arrival and parking

We recommend travelling to the festival using public transport.

  • By bus: The bus lines 100 and 187 stop very near Schloss Bellevue (at the stop Großer Stern).
  • By train: From the SBahn station Bellevue you can reach Schloss Bellevue in around 7 minutes.
  • By bicycle: Bicycle parking spaces can be found opposite Schloss Bellevue.
  • By car: No car parking is available.

Security checks

For security reasons, ID checks and bag checks will be carried out. The checks are in accordance with airport security standards. Bags that are no bigger than an A4 sheet of paper may be taken into the park. All other bags can be left in the cloakrooms at the entrance.

You are not permitted to bring the following items into the park:

  • Glass bottles
  • Plastic bottles larger than 1 litre – except baby bottles
  • Drones
  • Balloons
  • Bicycles, scooters, skateboards or similar
  • Flags and banners
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Pepper spray or similar
  • Drugs, alcohol, narcotics
  • Sharp or pointed objects
  • Explosives, incendiary or caustic substances, poisons or similar

Tour of Schloss Bellevue

Schloss Bellevue will be open for tours. Please follow the signs in the garden of Schloss Bellevue to the entrance on the garden side. No additional tickets are needed for the tour

Children

Changing tables are provided in the toilets. Children and teenagers below the age of 16 may only enter the festival site when accompanied by an adult.

Paying for the purchase of food and drink

All stands will accept cash. Almost all will also take card payments.

Lost and found

Pleas call phone No. 0151 6418 1480 to ask for items you may have lost on the grounds of the citizens' festival.

Accessibility

Schloss Bellevue and the festival site are fully accessible with very few exceptions. You can find more information here

Pets

It is not permitted to bring pets to the festival. Excepted from this are guide dogs and other assistance dogs.

Environmental protection

Please keep the garden clean, stay sustainable by generating as little rubbish as possible, and use the rubbish containers provided.

Smoking

Smoking is not permitted indoors. You may smoke in the designated smoking areas in the garden of Schloss Bellevue.

Data protection: Photography and sound & video recording

At this event hosted by the Federal President, photographs will be taken and audio and video recordings made in which you or your minor children may appear. By visiting Schloss Bellevue and its garden, you consent (on your own behalf and for your minor child or children as their legal representative) to the use of these photographs and recordings for the Federal President’s public relations work (including in brochures, on his website and on Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube). This consent also covers photographs and recordings produced in the on-site YouTube studio at the festival. Please note that the YouTube studio may be used by third parties (e.g. content creators), for whom we are not responsible.
