Raúl Krauthausen and Jonas Karpa campaign for inclusion and accessibility with the association Sozialhelden (Social Heroes). It was founded in 2004 and involves projects that drive societal change. These include Wheelmap, an interactive online map of accessible places worldwide, and Leidmedien.de, a platform for information around the topic of cliché-free reporting on disability. Together with Karina Sturm, the two creators run the ARD podcast Die Neue Norm (The New Normal), where they talk about diversity, inclusion and the lives of people with disabilities. At the citizens’ festival they will talk to their guests about encounters that changed their lives for good.
