Federal President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Elke Büdenbender visited the Kingdom of the Netherlands on 15 and 16 May 2018.
In The Hague, the Federal President was received by King Willem-Alexander and held talks with representatives of both parliamentary chambers as well as the Prime Minister. Following a luncheon hosted by the King and Queen, the Federal President and Elke Büdenbender visited the University of Technology and a start up centre in Delft.
Integration and urban development were featured prominently on the second day of their visit during meetings held in Amsterdam.
